Dianne L. Blomberg, Ph.D.

Dianne L. Blomberg, Ph.D. has been working in the field of Business and Communication since 1971. She holds a Ph.D. in Human Communication from the University of Denver. Dr. Blomberg has worked in public relations and marketing for small and large corporations; she has owned and operated several businesses. Since 1981 Dr. Blomberg has taught at the college level in Business Management, Business Finance, and Human Communication. She is the author of books and articles in the area of Human Communication Theory, Workplace Communication, Psychology of Communication, Research Writing, and Children’s books. Her research has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Newsday (New York), The Boston Globe, First for Women, The Denver Post, Family Life, Healthy Kids, Real Woman, Contra Costa Times, The Rocky Mountain News, The Boston Herald, Working Woman, The Sacramento Bee, and many other national publications and television/radio programs. She is the author of a children’s book, Sam and Gram and the First Day of School (Magination Press, 1999) dealing with issues that children face on this hallmark day; this title is published in Korean (Luk Books, 2009). She is the co-author of five titles in The Psychology of Communication (Pearson, and Simon and Schuster, 1997 - 2007). She has written in-house marketing manuals for national corporations, and produced training videos for franchise companies. She has been a consultant for a variety of businesses in the area of communication effectiveness in organizations.
